1983

Original company, Inenco AS, obtains the rights to sell INGRES.
1986
First commercial sale of AGRESSO software.
1991
Agresso AS established, and distribution agreement signed with the Swedish National Audit Bureau.
1993
Distribution agreement signed in the UK with Fraser Williams Ltd.
1994
First releases of AGRESSO for Windows and Client/Server for UNIX.
1995
Distribution agreement signed in the UK with Ampersand Systems Ltd.  Subsidiary set up in Sweden.
1996
Subsidiaries in the UK and France begin trading.  Subsidiary in California, US, is established.
1998
Market coverage improved with acquisitions in Norway, France, Canada, Sweden and Germany.
2000
Launch of Agresso Business World.  Merger with Unit 4 Agresso.
2001
Unit 4 Agresso announces record results and joins top quoted shares on Dutch Stock Market (Amsterdam Midcap index).
Revenue €208,2M (+24%), EBITDA €26,4M (+17%). Number of employees: 1391
2002
Signing strategic OEM agreement with Sabre Holdings.

2003
Acquisition Agresso Americas and Fininfor (France).

Acquisition of Agresso Spain, SPAI (Spain), ESV (Sweden) and Decade (Netherlands).

Acquisition of MCA (UK)
Unit 4 Agresso celebrates 25th anniversary

  • Agresso Wholesale formerly, Omnnivers, begins development on the Agresso Platform
  • "ERP ... with NO Expiration Date", "BLINC" (Businesses Living in Change), and "Agresso is the ERP Market's Definition of Agility" trademarked and coined as Agresso's positioning tagline, target market, and message.
