COPENHAGEN, November 7, 2006 — A new IDC study shows that SAP, Microsoft, and Unit 4 Agresso are the enterprise resource planning (ERP) application vendors most likely to gain market share in Western Europe in the future. The study rates the top 10 Western European ERP application vendors and features an IDC Leadership Grid analysis that contrasts vendors' current opportunity alignment with their ability to gain share in the future. "SAP, Microsoft, and Unit 4 Agresso came out with the highest ability to gain market share," said Bo Lykkegaard, program manager for European Enterprise Applications at IDC.
