Sliedrecht, February 8th 2006 Halfway 2005 Unit 4 Agresso launched Agresso Business World 5.5. This 5.5-version has an improved technological structure, and extended functionalities and user capacity. As early as the first month of this year, the success of this new version is becoming clear, given the number of important orders that already have been realized in 2006. Recently Agresso Spain closed an important order with the central government. The total order value amounts to approx. € 4,2 million. In January another seven important orders were closed in the UK, France, Belgium, America and Norway. Two large orders (both with an order value of more than € 1 million) were concluded in the educational sectors in France and the UK (Loughborough University). In Belgium an important order was closed with an IT service organization. The other orders were also realized in our most important target markets (local/central government, Service organizations). For Agresso Business World, this means the best start of the year in the last five years. Next to this, an essential strategic alliance was entered into with the US company Hansen Information Technologies. This alliance with Agresso Americas means a significant step into the American government market.
