Sliedrecht, the Netherlands, 13 April 2006 Turnover in first quarter increases with 20% to € 91.2 million and operating result (EBITDA) increases with 55% to € 9.0 million. The organic turnover growth in the first quarter comes to 16%. Business software After an excellent start of the year with significant orders in the United Kingdom, the Benelux, Norway, France and the Unites States in January, the entire first quarter of this year developed well. The months of February and March showed a high level of activity as well with peaks for the United Kingdom (universities and local governments), the Benelux and France. Again important orders were gained in the public sector in France. In the first three months of the year turnover grew by 17% to € 47.6 million (2005: € 40.8 million). Organically the turnover growth comes to 13%. The license turnover grew by 25%, turnover from maintenance contracts increased by 19% and services grew by 7%. The EBITDA increased with 71% to € 7.9 million in the first quarter (2005: € 4.6 million). Internet & Security The Internet & Security division demonstrated a strong growth in the first quarter as well. The (organic) turnover rose by 24% to € 43.6 million (2005: 35.2 million). The last month of the quarter yielded important orders in Belgium and France. The activities in Italy and the United Kingdom showed a very strong turnover growth (>100%). The EBITDA increased in the first three months by 57% to € 1.1 million. CFO Edwin van Leeuwen: “Generally speaking the first quarter results are not indicative of the entire year, since for both divisions the second and last quarter, especially the months of June and December, are the most important ones.
