Setting a European standard

Skagerak Energy wants to set the standard for logistics in Norwegian companies. That's why they've introduced AGRESSO's eCommerce solution, and in three years Skagerak has become one of the best in integrated logistics in Europe.

Skagerak Energy wanted to reduce compulsory savings, get lower transportation expenses, less warehouse spaces and better logistics. - Our goal is just-in-time deliveries. That means that the crews will get the material delivered out to the place where the job will be done,  when they need it. We will order in small quantities, have shorter deadlines for delivery, and simple routines for ordering and invoicing, says Jan Troøyen, the supervisor for logistics and process. Skagerak's internal transaction expenses are being reduced by more than 90 percent during 2004. The number of employees connected with purchasing, warehousing and transportation is reduced from thirty to five.
