General Medical Council revamps systems with Agresso - New systems for financials, subscription billing and HR and payroll
- Flexible ERP required to grow and change with the organisation
Agresso UK, today announced that the General Medical Council (GMC) has signed a contract worth almost £500K to implement Agresso’s Business World software suite to meet its finance, billing, payroll, HR and procurement needs.
Established in 1858, the General Medical Council registers doctors to practice medicine in the UK. Its purpose is to protect, promote and maintain the health and safety of the public by ensuring proper standards in the practice of medicine.
Agresso was chosen following detailed analysis due to: its ability to meet the GMC’s specific requirements for its back office functions, particularly subscription billing; its management information capability; the ease with which it can be tailored to meet the business needs and its look and feel and ease-of-use for the end users.
“We have successfully implemented a CRM system at the GMC to support our main operational activities and want to implement a system of similar quality to meet our finance, billing, procurement and HR requirements,” said Dave Anson, Head of IS at the General Medical Council. “We are confident that the selection of Agresso will allow us to meet our business case for a new back office system.”
