User Group

The UK User Group is an independent organisation, active in the support and development of Agresso.  Run by a council of 15 members including the Chairman, all of whom are customers of Agresso and represent a cross section of industry sectors.

AUKUG – Why Should My Organisation Join?

As Chairman of the AUKUG, the first two questions I am usually asked by non-members are: "What is the point of joining the User Group?" and "What would my organisation gain from being a member?"

These are two very easy questions to answer.  The flippant response is: "Can you afford not to be a member?"

Being a member entitles you to the following benefits:

  • Two subsidised places at the annual UK Agresso User Conference.
  • Two free places at each of the five members-only workshops run during the year.
  • Access to the Yahoo! question and answer database containing queries raised by users and answered by other users and by Agresso itself.  There are around a thousand topic threads each year, resolving many users' problems successfully.
  • The ability to vote annually for product enhancements logged on Senate for future delivery into the product.
  • Two newsletters per year giving details of events and other relevant Agresso news.
  • Access to senior Agresso staff via the Council members, to raise any significant issues that are affecting users.
  • Access to the International Agresso User Association that has links into all Agresso organisations around the globe, and gives us the ability to raise common issues or concerns directly with Unit 4 Agresso in the Netherlands and R&D in Norway.
  • The ability to network with colleagues in similar organisations, to learn from each other ways to enhance our systems for the future.

Having spent some very significant sums on installing Agresso, I believe it is wise to invest an additional £285.00 to join up with another 250 members, to keep abreast of product developments and to share best practice to overcome issues, features and problems in as effective a way as possible.

To join now, please contact Caroline Batten (email caroline.batten@agresso.co.uk or phone 01275 377340).

I look forward with meeting you at an event very soon.
